Dr. Spenser Becker Joins AB Vista Swine Technical Team
Published Monday, 3rd October 2022AB Vista welcomes Dr. Spenser Becker to the swine technical team to provide additional support and expertise to partners and customers in the pig industry.
Dr. Becker worked with renowned professors including Dr. Laura Greiner and Dr. John Patience throughout her collegiate career and managed and assisted in multiple research trials while at Iowa State University as a graduate research assistant.
Three published journal articles are already on her resume and three more are in preparation. She’s presented several abstracts, was featured in two extension publications, has conducted many other talks and has numerous awards and honors.
“As AB Vista continues to grow in the swine industry, we needed additional support from someone who knows the industry and the research extensively,” states Dr. Craig Wyatt, technical service manager for AB Vista. “Spenser has an impressive resume and the personality, knowledge and dedication to expand in the swine nutrition realm across the Midwest and beyond.”
Dr. Becker earned her bachelor’s at Oklahoma State University and her master’s and doctorate at Iowa State University. She’s been featured in Farm Journal’s PORK Up and Coming Leader editions and currently resides in Indianola, Iowa to be more centrally located serving AB Vista customers with the technical expertise they may need.
