AB Vista to host Feed Intelligence Academy in Vietnam

Published Tuesday, 20th October 2026

AB Vista will host a Feed Intelligence Academy in Vietnam, bringing together experts and customers from across the ASPAC region to explore how advances in feed science can support informed nutritional decision-making and profitable animal production.

The two-day technical programme will cover the latest developments in enzyme technology, dietary fibre and gut health, and how these can be translated into practical nutrition strategies across key stages of poultry and swine production.

The Academy, which takes place from Tuesday 27 to Wednesday 28 October 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, includes speakers from academia, AB Vista and its sister company, AB Neo. It forms part of AB Vista’s wider Feed Intelligence Academy programme, which provides a platform for technical education and knowledge-sharing in key regions, connecting local challenges and insights with global research and expertise.

The programme will focus on key areas shaping poultry and swine nutrition in Vietnam. It will examine the latest research in phytase and NSP enzymes, alongside the role of dietary and functional fibres in monogastric nutrition and practical approaches to gut health.

Delegates will also hear about developments in AB Vista’s phytase research, recent work in fibre kinetics and field experience in sow and piglet nutrition.

The Academy will explore how these and other nutritional insights can be applied in practice, with sessions spanning broiler and layer nutrition, sow feeding programmes from gilt development to weaning, grower-finisher pigs and nutritional strategies for piglets.

Technical experts contributing to the programme from AB Vista/Neo include:

  • Tiago Santos, Innovation Director, AB Vista
  • Alexandre Brito, Global Head of Technical, AB Vista
  • Dr. Carrie Walk, R&D and Regulatory Director, AB Vista
  • Simon Tibble, Technical Director, AB Neo
  • Mariz Gerodias, Swine Technical Manager, AB Vista
  • Zack Ng, Senior Scientist (ASPAC), AB Vista

Dr Carrie Walk, R&D and Regulatory Director, at AB Vista said: “Animal nutrition continues to evolve, and the Feed Intelligence Academy provides a valuable opportunity to bring together customers, researchers and our technical experts to discuss what the latest science means in practice. It’s a forum to share ideas, challenge thinking and look at how the latest nutritional insights can help address challenges producers are facing across the region.”

Participants will also have the opportunity to visit AB Agri’s recently opened premix plant, offering a closer look at the Group’s nutritional capabilities in Vietnam and the wider region.
