We’ve expanded our animal feed additive portfolio

We have added ruminant products Optipartum C and Axcelera C, along with Axcelera P for piglets, to our already extensive feed additive range.

Optipartum C improves cow performance, from the critical postpartum period and beyond, by unlocking more energy from the ration, and Axcelera C and P accelerate calf and piglet growth and performance.

Sales and application development

We have now assumed all sales and application development work related to the three products, including the existing sales channels and trials, across all relevant markets. They were previously produced by one of our sister companies, Bodit, part of the AB Agri family of agricultural businesses.

Ben Helm, previously the Commercial Director at Bodit responsible for the three products, has joined AB Vista as Global Commercial Director-Ruminant.

Dieter Suida, AB Vista’s Global Commercial Director, said: “This is an exciting development for the company and demonstrates our increasing focus on the global ruminant feed additives business.

“We have had significant success selling these feed additives in the American market over the past few years.

“The new arrangements provide us with new opportunities to further grow in this sector and expand sales of related ruminant products, such as VistaPre-T and Vistacell.

“Ben has many years’ experience developing markets for the Bodit products and his expertise, energy and understanding will be invaluable in developing our business going forwards.”
