A species-specific formulation to counter mycotoxins’ impacts on pigs
- Preventative control of multiple mycotoxins
- Binds and transforms mycotoxins
- Maintains and improves growth rates
- Supports overall performance and profit
Mycotoxin remediator reduces impacts on business profitability
Mycotoxins are one of the most dangerous hidden threats to swine health, compromising growth, fertility, disease immunity and overall performance
The UltraSorb range has been robustly trialled on working farms
Compound feeds containing a mixture of grains, especially maize can harbour mycotoxins. Bedding, including straw, can also harbour the toxic compounds.
Symptoms of exposure include:
- Poor growth and reduced body weight
- Fertility issues (conception, litter size, still births, boar semen volume and quality)
- Immune suppression
- Liver and kidney damage
- Faecal stability
- Porcine pulmonary oedema
UltraSorb S includes highly adsorbant minerals to bind a wide range of mycotoxins and their derivatives to make them harmless and biologically active yeast derivatives to transform and degrade the molecular structure of mycotoxins to improve binding efficacy.
In one trial, where swine feed had been found to be contaminated with DON, improvements were shown in the affected swine returning to normal feed and growth rates, and improved boar fertility after treatment with UltraSorb S.
UltraSorb has shown to successfully bind Aflatoxins. Aflatoxins are regulated in many countries and are considered carcinogens.
Available in a variety of formats for farm and mill use, including a range of options to suit different mycotoxin risk. Suitable for use in organic systems.
