Econase® Barley
This beta-glucanase enzyme specifically targets the breakdown of cell wall structures like soluble and in-soluble beta-glucans. This makes it especially useful to use in diets containing barley, oats or by-products of either of these grains.
Using Econase® Barley in your feed results in:
- reduced viscosity in the digesta
- improved nutrient availability from the feed material
- greater flexibility in diet composition
In trials carried out across Europe, a positive influence on the performance of broilers was seen when feeding a diet based on barley with some wheat which included Econase® Barley against the control diet which didn't contain the enzyme. Feed conversion ratios improved from 2.4% to 6.9%.
