New app revolutionises Vistacell Calculator

Thanks to a new, more portable version of the Vistacell Calculator, cattle and horse feed customers can precisely calculate their animals’ dietary requirements – without heading back to the office computer. Re-launched as a web app, AB Vista’s user-friendly tool is now available for download to smartphones and tablets, enabling customers to crunch feed-related numbers on the move – or out in the field.
The Vistacell Calculator helps determine exactly how much of the yeast product Vistacell, which improves fibre digestion and dry matter intake, should be included in feed. According to the species being fed, it will work out the correct levels for compound feed, mineral premixes and concentrated feeds – helping producers get the best from their animals’ diet.
AB Vista will be demonstrating the Vistacell Calculator app on its stand in the Feeds & Forage area of Livestock 2012 Incorporating Dairy Event, which takes place on 4 and 5 September at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
