Technical Director - Ireland
Based in Northern Ireland, Derek is involved in product sales and technical support at all levels within the agricultural sector.
Derek has been working in the agricultural industry for over seven years since graduating from The Queens University of Belfast with a degree in Agriculture followed by a PhD in energy metabolism in dairy cows completed in 2001. Following graduation Derek took up employment in England. His previous positions include technical services manager for an animal feed supplement company and prior to that as a nutritionist for a large animal feed company in the South West of England.
Derek has a strong background in the ruminant market and joined AB Vista in October 2007.
